ABOUT US

The Malaysia Japanese Language Instructors Society (MAJLIS) gathers Japanese language instructors in Malaysia regardless of nationalities and ethnicities involving in language, cultural relations and educational opportunities. In MAJLIS, we create a platform to share our knowledge and expertise, besides creating strong connection among MAJLIS members and other organisations. This is made possible by creating opportunities, building connections and engendering trust. As a start, we are geared by Japanese language lecturers and Japanese language school teachers.　

OBJECTIVES

• To build networking among Japanese language and cultural practitioners in and out of Malaysia.

• To organize Japanese language and cultural activities to enhance the development of Japanese language education in Malaysia.

• To cultivate the excellent moral and cultural values through Japanese language and cultural activities. 

MEMBERSHIP

Regular membership is open to all Malaysians who are engaged in Japanese teaching and learning, or, who are professionally interested in areas pertaining to Japanese Language education. It is also open to Malaysians who are not directly involved in teaching or research in Japanese Language but are interested in participating the Japanese language and cultural activities of MAJLIS. Permanent residents and foreign nationals interested in participating the Japanese language and cultural activities of MAJLIS can become associate members.
